This customer contacted us because they were interested in installing new siding.

 

 

 

We began the project by stripping the existing shingles, flashing and backing paper. Once we removed the backing paper, we were able to see the extensive rot that was taking place underneath her shingles.

The customer was grateful she chose us over another contractor who was interested in just covering over her shingles.

We installed blown in insulation and then replaced several pieces of sheathing We also replaced 3 windows with Simonton Generations® triple pane double hung window 

Then we installed new Tyvek® house wrap and new pre-primed James Hardie fiber cement siding and painted the home with Sherwin Williams® Resilience paint.

This customer contacted us because they wanted to replace their windows and take advantage of the tax credit. They also decided to powerwash and stain the home because there was mildew growing on the house.

We began this project by replacing 11 double hung windows with Anderson® Woodright windows.

 

We also replaced a few smaller casements and replaced one large casement combo with a clean looking triple casement fixed style window.

 

Then we powerwashed the home and stained it with Sherwin Williams® stain. We also painted all fascia, window framed and rake boards with Sherwin Williams® latex paint.

The customer contacted us because they needed their windows replaced and needed the exterior of the home updated.

We began this project by removing the existing siding and installed new Tyvek® house wrap. We replaced 14 windows with Simonton Generations® white vinyl windows.

Then we installed new pre-primed James Hardie® fiber cement clapboards in the smooth finish with 5 inch exposures.

We also installed new PVC corner boards and rake boards.

Then we painted the home with 2 coats of Sherwin Williams® Resilience paint.

 

Window and Fiber Cement Siding installation in Reading, MA

This customer contacted us because they were interested in replacing their siding with a low maintenance fiber cement siding.

We began this project by removing the existing siding and installing new Hardiwrap® house wrap tp protect the home from the elements.

Then we installed new James Hardie® Coloplus pre-finished Hardiplank siding. We also installed new cellular PVC trim and PVC conerposts, window frames and sills.

 

We also replaced the columns on the front entryway and the steps that were rotting.

Vinyl Replacement Windows in Newton, MA

What We Did

This 1960's home had some old drafty windows that needed to be replaced. It is a ranch style home that has its original drafty windows.

As an independent window contractor, we replaced them with many different kinds of windows in order to match the existing style of the home because we were not replacing every window in the house.

The biggest problem windows that we replaced were the bedroom windows which had an awning window at the bottom, which went all the way to the floor and a picture window on top of it, which reached the ceiling. These were great to let light into the house, but they were drafty and old and it was time to replace them.

So our carpenters installed Simonton Generations double hung, double pane windows that were a lot more energy efficient than the ones they had. The bottom sash had to have tempered glass because those windows were directly installed on the ground level.

Next, we installed 5 Norandex-Reynolds 3000 series double pane insulating windows in some of the bedrooms and living room. There was also 1 picture window installed in the living room.

The job was complete and the customer said this about our window installation "The guys were great and the windows look good."

They said they enjoyed working with our company and that they would gladly do so again if they needed an installer for out other services Roofing, Fiber-Cement Siding, Wood Siding, Vinyl Siding, Window Installer, or Painting Contractor.

Replacement Windows & Fiberglass Door in Quincy, MA

This house was built in 1967 in a great neighborhood in Quincy. It had been about 7 years since it was painted, so it was time to do it again. The customer chose us to come in and get the job done. There was significant peeling on some parts of the house, which needed a lot of scraping and sanding, but overall the house was in good shape. The house was finished with Sherwin Williams Superpaint in a blue for the siding and white for the trim. The last touch was a door that was installed in the front of the house. It was a Thermatru Smoothstar door that was very energy efficient and opened and closed a lot better than what they had.

Over the next few months the customer noticed how much warmer he front hallway was because of her front door, and then realized how bad her windows were in the rest of the house. She called us again to replace her windows and we did.

We installed new Simonton Generations Triple Pane windows. All together there were 15 double hung windows and 2 picture windows that our guys were able to install quickly and efficiently.

It was starting to get cold out, so the customer liked that we could get the job done in a good time frame. She said "I am very satisfied with the work that was done in installing new windows in my home. The work was done in a neat and timely fashion. The windows look great!"

Since the windows were installed, we have talked and she said she loves the windows, but she can't figure out the thermostat. She has to keep putting it down because the windows insulate so well, so it is a nice problem to have. She also commented on the noise reduction of the windows which she likes very much.

Vinyl Replacement Windows in Cranston, RI

This customer called us looking for a painter to paint the side of their home that was no longer holding the paint to their wood shingles. They decided to replace the siding with a material that required little maintenance and was guaranteed to hold paint longer than cedar shingles, fiber cement siding.

We first stripped the wood shingles on the right side of the house and wrapped it with Tyvek® house wrap. Then we installed new James Hardie® Fiber Cement individual shingles.

We also replaced 12 windows with Simonton Generations® double hung vinyl replacement windows with colonial sculpted grids.

We replaced the front door with a Thermatru® door. They were happy to find a contractor that could handle all these renovations at once.

After powerwashing the home, our painters came and primed and painted the home with two coats of Sherwin Williams® Resilience Paint. The customer appreciated that our siding installers and painters are specialized.

This customer contacted us looking for a replacement window contractor in Mansfield, MA. We told them we'd be happy to help them out. The windows on this home were a little outdated, and the family wanted windows that were more energy efficient. They also had concerns about there being lead paint on the window trim and they had small children living in the house. First we removed 3 old windows and installed Simonton Generations ® double hung triple pane replacement windows. We also installed a Thermatru® back door and Simonton Generations ® hinged out swing patio French doors.

Wood Replacement Windows in Boston, MA

This condo unit in Boston had windows that were replaced in the 70's. These windows were out of date, did not conform the historical regulations for Commonwealth Ave and did nothing to insulate the interior from the elements. In addition, the windows that the historical commission approved had to be black exterior, true divided lite, real wood (not clad) windows. Additionally, they were over 90" tall. The owners decided to call us for help.

We removed the old low grade aluminum windows and installed new custom made double paned, low E glass, wood windows and trim that matched the existing.

To finish up our painters primed and painted the windows in our shop and applied another field coat after the installation. The interior was painted linen white semi gloss. The exterior was painted black satin. Now the condo unit is up to code, very well insulated, and blends in well with the rest of the building and neighborhood.
